These terms govern your use of the TextMeBack app and this website. Please read them. By using TextMeBack you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the site.

1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing, or using TextMeBack, you accept these terms. We may update them from time to time; the updated version applies once posted, and continuing to use the app means you accept the changes.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TextMeBack for your own, non-commercial use. You may not reverse-engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the app. You own the conversations you store on your device; we own the app, its interface, and its underlying code.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use TextMeBack only for your own personal dating and texting, and not to:

• impersonate anyone or use a fake identity to deceive someone;
• harass, threaten, abuse, manipulate, or pressure another person;
• share or publish another person's private messages without their consent;
• scam, defraud, or trick anyone into doing something against their interests;
• generate or send content that is illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative;
• violate any law or the rights of any third party.

Healthy connection rests on honesty and consent. TextMeBack is a tool to help you communicate, not a way to work around someone's "no."

4. AI suggestions are not advice and not guaranteed

Every reply, opener, bio, vibe check, photo note, and tip in the app is generated by AI. These suggestions:

• are not professional relationship counseling, therapy, or legal advice;
• do not guarantee a reply, a match, a date, or any romantic outcome;
• can be inaccurate, tone-deaf, or wrong for your situation.

You are responsible for what you choose to send. Review each suggestion, edit it to sound like you, and use your own judgment. You assume the risk for how you use any output.

5. Dating and relationship disclaimer

TextMeBack is a casual texting aid, not a substitute for genuine communication. If you are dealing with relationship trauma, grief, anxiety, or anything heavy, please reach out to a qualified professional. Respect the other person's perspective, privacy, and decisions at all times.

6. Subscriptions and billing

A free tier is available with a limit on generations. Unlimited use is offered through an auto-renewing subscription sold via the Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms, not by us. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store or Google Play account settings. As of this date, TextMeBack is not yet listed on the stores.

7. Intellectual property

The TextMeBack app, name, interface, and code are ours. Your conversations are yours and stay on your device. AI suggestions are provided for your personal use; you may use them in your own conversations, but you may not repackage or republish the app's outputs as a product.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or any dating or relationship outcome, arising from your use of TextMeBack. This includes service interruptions, third-party provider failures, and errors in AI suggestions.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you used it for free. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, for example for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

TextMeBack is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that suggestions will be accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. You use it at your own risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. You can stop using TextMeBack at any time by deleting the app, which removes your local data. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability limits and governing law) continue to apply.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Indian Contract Act, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and the Information Technology Act 2000. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. We ask that you first contact us in good faith to resolve any issue before pursuing legal proceedings.

12. Severability and entire agreement

If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Help page, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding TextMeBack.
